Safeguarding policy
Scope
This policy applies to every Tantra Clinic program, 1:1 session, and quiz interaction.
What we do when a participant indicates active risk
- Active suicidal ideation: we replace the program recommendation with crisis resources for the participant's country and offer a soft handoff to professional care. We do not continue tantric practice with anyone in active suicidal crisis.
- Child safety concerns disclosed: our practitioners follow mandated reporting requirements applicable to their jurisdiction. We will not maintain confidentiality where a child is at risk.
- Active intimate-partner abuse: we provide local DV resources, do not begin couples programming, and do not encourage continued cohabitation.
How we train practitioners
All practitioners complete safeguarding training before delivering any sessions. Training covers: recognizing crisis indicators, the difference between somatic regression and clinical PTSD, mandated reporting where applicable, and the limits of tantric practice in clinical contexts.
How to report a concern
Email safeguarding@tantra.clinic. We acknowledge within 48 hours and respond fully within 14 days.
