About Tantra Clinic
What we are
Tantra Clinic is a specialist online resource for sexual and intimacy issues. We treat tantra as a body-based modality — a contemplative methodology with roots going back roughly 1,500 years, whose core tools (breath, attention, structured touch) overlap with approaches that do have a modern evidence base, such as mindfulness-based sex therapy and sensate focus. We apply it with the structure, honesty, and editorial discipline you would expect from a serious health resource, and we are explicit about where the evidence is strong and where it is thin.
We publish in-depth, evidence-grounded material across a wide range of sexual and intimacy concerns — men's, women's, couples', and universal — and we work with people online, from anywhere. Today there is a single way in: you tell us what is going on through the enquiry form, and a person reads it and replies. We are deliberately not running an automated funnel of paid programmes while the clinical foundation below is still being built.
What we are not
- We are not a religion, a guru lineage, or a workshop circuit.
- We are not a substitute for medical or mental-health care. Where medical care is needed first, we say so and route there.
- We are not selling enlightenment, "manifest your soulmate," or seven-figure transformation packages.
- We are not Bali-retreat-and-white-linen tantra.
- We are not a practitioner directory. We do not maintain a roster of therapists or bodyworkers, and we will not pretend an enquiry is a referral.
How we operate
- Editorial review, named as such. Every page touching medical territory is reviewed by the Tantra Clinic editorial team against current evidence before it goes live. What we do not yet have is a named, credentialed clinician signing off each page — a clinical advisory board is in formation (sex therapists, sex-medicine physicians, pelvic-floor physiotherapists). Until a page carries a real clinician's name and credential, our claim stays at "editorially reviewed," not "clinically reviewed." We say this plainly because vague "clinically reviewed" badges on health-adjacent sites are exactly how readers get misled.
- Honest evidence framing. Where peer-reviewed evidence exists, we cite it and describe it accurately. Where it is limited or contested, we say so in the copy. Where it does not exist, we do not invent it. Our Insights section exists to show this working — what the research actually shows, and where it falls short.
- Medical-first on anything physical. Pain, numbness, gradual erectile change, and sudden shifts in desire or sensation can have physical causes that body practice cannot fix. We route those to a GP, sexual-medicine clinician, or pelvic-floor physiotherapist first, and frame our work as something that comes after — or alongside — proper assessment.
- Coordination, not replacement. Where you already have a GP, sex therapist, or pelvic-floor physiotherapist, our material is designed to sit alongside their care, not compete with it.
Privacy and your data
This is sensitive territory, and we treat it that way. Tantra Clinic is operated by Lead Media, a Bulgaria-registered company, and we handle personal data under the GDPR. When you use the enquiry form, the details you send are used only to reply to you; we do not sell them, and we do not add you to a marketing machine. The site uses a consent banner so that analytics only run with your agreement. You can read the specifics in our privacy policy.
Who runs it
Tantra Clinic is a small, operator-led project rather than a large institution, and we would rather tell you that than dress it up. That shape is the reason the honesty rules above are not marketing copy: there is no incentive here to oversell a programme, because there is no programme being pushed at you — only material we stand behind and a form that reaches a person. As the clinical advisory board forms, this page will be updated to name who is involved.
Our safeguarding policy
If an enquiry indicates active suicidal ideation, a child-safety concern, or active abuse, we respond with crisis resources and point firmly toward professional help rather than attempting to handle it ourselves. See our full safeguarding policy and our crisis resources.
